The ToneWay® Project: helping people play music

In the Baggage Coach Ahead

On a dark and stormy 6m night, as the 1 train rattled 6m on
All the 1 passengers had gone to 4 bed
Except one young man with a 1 babe in his 6m arms
Who 2 sat there with a bowed-down 5 head
The 1 innocent 6m one began 1 crying just 6m then
As though its poor heart would 4 break
One angry man said, Make that 1 child stop its 6m noise
For it's 2 keeping all 5 of us a 1 wake

Put it out, said another, Don't keep it in here
We've paid for our berths and want rest
But never a word said the man with the child
As he fondled it close to his breast
Where is its mother, go take it to her
This a lady then softly said
I wish that I could, was the man's sad reply
But she's dead in the coach ahead

Chorus
While the 5 train rolled 1 onward
A 4 husband sat in tears
5 Thinking of the happiness
Of just a few short 1 years
For baby's 5 face brings 1 pictures
Of a 4 cherished hope that's dead
But baby's cries can't 1 waken her
In the 2 baggage 5 coach a 1 head
