The ToneWay® Project: helping people play music

Moonshiner

I've 1 been a moon- 4 shiner for seven long 5 years
I've spent 1 all of my 4 money on whiskey and 5 beer
I'll go down to some 1 holler and set up my 5 still
I'll 1 sell you a 4 gallon for a two dollar 5 bill

I'll eat when I'm hungry and I'll drink when I'm dry
If whiskey don't kill me, Lord I'll live 'til I die
God bless them moonshiners they're all friends of mine
Their breath is as sweet as the dew on the vine

I'll go down in some grocery and I'll drink with my friends
No women to bother me or see what I spend
God bless them pretty women I wish one was mine
For their breath is more sweeter than even moonshine
